This is the number of people dying worldwide prematurely due to air pollution. As part of the Global Burden of Disease project reveals that mostly small particles from power plants, factories, vehicle exhausts, burning of coal and wood are responsible behind this huge toll of deaths, which are mostly taking place in China and India.
