No decision yet on reopening educational institutions
Almost 16 months have passed since in-person classes in schools and colleges were suspended. Meanwhile, UNICEF and UNESCO have recently emphasized that opening classes with necessary precautions is crucial for an entire generation.
Bangladesh is yet to effectively restrain the ongoing covid-19 pandemic. The government has been insisting that students' health safety cannot be jeopardized. So, what will happen to millions of students? Is there any way to reopen the schools safely?
