Lockdown arrests: Poor getting levied beyond means
Among the hundreds of people getting arrested for violating lockdown regulations, many are day laborers and other low income individuals, trying to hold off starvation for another day.
However, on top of getting arrested and complex court-works -- they are asked to pay extra to get free. Hundreds of people, mostly relatives of those arrested, were seen in front of Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court.
