Aircraft graveyard in Dhaka airport: Caab considers auction
Twelve aeroplanes are left abandoned for two to eight years inside the cargo village of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, disrupting the loading-unloading operations.
However, Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (Caab) informs that they are taking action to reclaim the area.
Eight of the abandoned aeroplanes are from United Airways, two from Regent Airways and one each from GMG and Aviana.
