Number of deaths and accidents are still rising in Bangladesh, despite discussions, protests, and movements demanding safer roads. According to Bangladesh Police, there were nearly 5,500 road accidents and 5,088 people lost their lives in 2021. Why aren't the number of accidents reducing even after expert advice and the government's assurances and law?
