Impressive watermelon yield in salinised land!

Farmers in Khulna have made possible what was once a fantasy -- harvesting watermelon in salinised soil, using a clever procedure called mulching.

According to the Department of Agricultural Extension, over 300 farmers of Khulna have tried and eventually succeeded to grow green and also yellow watermelons from salinised soil.
