Does development come at nature’s expense?
Dhaka has long been detached from the lush green identity of typical Bengal delta. This concrete labyrinth, full of dust and chaos, now has the last residues of green. But does urbanisation come only at the cost of nature? Does construction really need a barren foundation? Why is Dhaka failing to embrace nature as her innate part? Can this still be redeemed?
