Shakib removes SKY but India on course for big total
India's Suryakumar Yadav, known as SKY for his initials, was threatening to take the game away but Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan managed to remove the batter to give the Tigers a chance at taking control of their Super 12 fixture at the Adelaide Oval today.
Trying to cut Shakib through the point region, Suryakumar was castled, ending his 16-ball 30-run blitz. Shakib came close to removing the number 1 T20I batter in his previous over, inducing an edge off his bat that flew past the wicketkeeper after a top-edge from his willow did not quite reach Mustafizur Rahman at short third man in the first delivery of that over.
After 15 overs, India reached 130 for three and are on course for posting a big total.
