Sohan to miss West Indies encounter
Wicketkeeper-batter Nurul Hasan Sohan is set to miss Bangladesh's crucial third game of the Super 12 stage against the West Indies today (4 pm Bangladesh time).
The 27-year-old had suffered an injury while batting at the nets during the training session In ICC Cricket Academy in Dubai on 26 October ahead of the game against Sri Lanka.
Sohan was hurt in the abdominal area while facing pacer Taskin Ahmed and was seen in pain. He, however, managed to return to bat at the nets later on.
It was learned that the cricketer had a fracture in the abdominal area and according to sources, Sohan will stay back at the hotel today.
It is understood that Liton Das is likely to keep behind the stumps in place of Sohan.
