Fans to return to untidy ZACS
Just like during the T20Is in Mirpur, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has allowed spectators to watch the first of the two-match Test series against Pakistan at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (ZACS) in Chattogram tomorrow for the first time since the pandemic began last year.
But with broken chairs and an untidy atmosphere in the stands, it seems that the authorities are unwelcoming towards the Chattogram crowd, who will have the opportunity to witness international cricket after more than two years.
However, according to the venue manager, BCB has already instructed them to install new seating arrangements, but at the moment there's no good news for the fans who will come to watch the Test match tomorrow.
The last time that the fans witnessed the Tigers from the stands of the ZACS was back in September 2019 when Bangladesh played against Zimbabwe during a tri-nation T20I series involving Afghanistan.
However, the Test match between Bangladesh and West Indies in February this year was the last game played at the venue but that match was played behind closed doors.
