The world of football and golf collided on Saturday as Tiger Woods met Barcelona players and hung out with them after Barcelona’s Miami Clasico.
Barcelona ended their preseason on a high note, beating arch rivals Real Madrid 3-2 and finished as winners of the preseason tournament.
Tiger Woods brought his children and their best friends and met up with Barcelona’s Argentine playmaker Lionel Messi and forward Luis Suarez in the Barcelona dressing room.
The Florida-based winner of 14 major championships is evidently a big Blaugrana fan and made the trip over to Miami with his kids to enjoy the occasion, ESPN FC reports.
Tiger Woods posted a photo from his personal twitter and said: “Thank you to Messi and Suarez for meeting my kids and their best friends. #ElClasico”
Suarez posted a photo of him and Woods with the caption: "Finishing the tour with victory and a great photo of a great idol!"
