Roma conveniently fail to write Malcom’s name!
AS Roma did not take Barcelona hijacking the Malcolm deal lightly. Roma played the Catalan giants in an International Champions Cup fixture where the Italians ran out 2-4 winners in a friendly -- a game where tackles flew in after Barca had gone 2-0 ahead.
Words had been flying from Italy's capital to Barcelona and back and before the match, Roma let their displeasure be known in a unique sort of way.
After Barca had announced the lineup yesterday, which included the Brazilian Malcom, Roma proceeded to conveniently delete the Brazilian’s name from the lineup when Roma retweeted the Barcelona team, leaving a gap where Malcom’s name should have been. That left Barca with just ten names in the starting lineup.

Roma inflicted more misery on a young Barca side as Alessandro Florenzi levelled the score in the second half to make it 2-2. Bryan Cristante then made it 3-2 before Diego Perotti converted from the spot to make it 4-2 to Roma at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The 21-year-old had appeared set for a move to the Italian capital on Monday, after both Roma and Bordeaux confirmed an agreement, reportedly in the region of €40m had been reached. Barcelona then came in with a late offer of their own and Malcom agreed a five-year contract at the Camp Nou.
