Robben poses as Cruyff statue for charity

Netherland’s Arjen Robben posed as a statue of the nation’s best ever player Johan Cruyff in a charity event named ‘Netherlands stands up against cancer’.
Robben put on a wig and covered himself in silver paint and stood alongside real statues to fool passersby. The former Real Madrid and Chelsea man pulled off the stunt perfectly as he stood motionless beside other statues.
The player, who retired from the Oranje set-up shortly after the side’s failure to qualify for the World Cup, transformed himself brilliantly to become a statue version of the decorated Cruyff.
Robben sat patiently in the make-up room as he was transformed into the legendary star in order to raise funds for the charity event.
Cruyff, who won three Ballond’Ors as a player, had also enjoyed successfulmanagerial stint at both Ajax and Barcelona. The legendary Dutchman passed away on March 24, 2016 at the age of 69.
