Bangladesh suffer 1-0 defeat against Seychelles in second friendly

Bangladesh put in a dismal performance to suffer a 1-0 defeat to visiting Seychelles in the second and final FIFA friendly match at Sylhet District Stadium on Tuesday.
England-based defender Michael Ian Mancienne separated the two sides after converting from the spot in the 61st minute after defender Saad Uddin fouled Daryle Bertrand inside the box.
The two-match series ended as a tie as Bangladesh beat Seychelles by the identical margin in the first match on Saturday.
Adding more to misery, the home-side players got involved in scuffles with the visiting players soon following the final whistle, and the officials were forced to intervene to calm all players down.
Spanish coach Javier Cabrera drafted Robiul Hasan and Suman Reza in place of Jamal Bhuiyan and Aminur Rahman Sajib, respectively but the 192-ranked men in red and green failed to live up to their performance against a 199-ranked side filled with amateur players, with the exception of Mancienne and Daryl Bertrand.
The charges of Cabrera looked like they were playing without purpose and could hardly expose the backline of Seychelles, who did not allow the hosts to build up the game from behind after adopting pressing football.
Seychelles could not even create a half chance before scoring the decisive goal.
After going down, Bangladesh sent Eleta Kingsley and Matin Mia but they could not equalise despite getting a couple of chances.
