Jackson Martinez has confirmed that he is signing for Atletico Madrid in a four-year deal this summer.

The Colombian's agent had already hinted at the switch from Porto to Atleti, which is believed to be costing the Spanish club €35 million.

"I can confirm I am going to Atletico," he said after Colombia's defeat to Argentina at the Copa America. "I am going there for four years but I still do not know when I will be introduced.

"I have had great progression, always learning, always growing and now I'm going to Atletico where I hope to help the team and continue to grow as a player."

Arsenal and AC Milan had also been linked with the 28-year-old, who has scored 92 goals in 132 games for Porto.
