Bangladesh U-15’s win against Bhutan

Bangladesh all but confirmed the final berth of SAFF U-15 Women's Championship with a commanding 3-0 win over Bhutan at Birshestha Shaheed Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur today.

Defender Akhi Khatun struck a brace while substitute Sajeda Khatun scored the other to ensure victory for the hosts, who thrashed Nepal 6-0 in their first match.

With second straight defeat, Bhutan, who still have a game in hand against Nepal, were eliminated from group stage.

India will play their second match against Nepal this afternoon and if India can beat Nepal, both India and Bangladesh will book their seats of the final of four-team championship.

Bangladesh will play their final group match against India on December 21.
