Pietersen mocks ECB

He might not be a part of the current England squad, but that didn't keep Kevin Pietersen away from following the action of the first Test match played between the Poms and New Zealand at Lord's.

Kevin Pietersen hailed the performance of Ben Stokes, who was the hero in England's convincing win against the Kiwis.

The mercurial batsman took to Twitter to praise Stokes' maiden Test century after he missed out on achieving the feat in the first innings by eight runs.

"Not surprised by Stoke's 100. A star was born in Perth, poor management faded that star. Hopefully better management lights it again," tweeted Pietersen.
