Taskin ties the knot

The South Africa tour may have been a grueling one for the Tigers but pacer Taskin Ahmed did not let it hinder his plans as he tied the knot on October 31.

Bangladesh team had arrived in Dhaka at 8am on Tuesday and by nightfall Taskin Ahmed was a married man.

Syeda Rabeya, who was Taskin's classmate at American International University (AIUB) was the bride.

Taskin did not expand on the matter of marriage but a Bengali daily report quoted Taskin's father as saying that the bride was already decided and the wedding ceremony was organized in a sudden manner. He also said that there will be big wedding ceremony later on.

Bangladesh ODI skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza attended the wedding of Taskin. The ceremony took place in Mohammadpur's Lalmatia on Tuesday night.
