Bangladesh opener Imrul Kayes's father, Mohammad Bani Amin, breathed his last at the age of 60 in a city hospital yesterday.

Bani Amin had been hospitalised for nearly a month after being seriously injured in a motorbike accident in Meherpur. He was kept under intensive care amid the coronavirus crisis.

State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Rasel expressed his deep condolences over Amin's death. Cricket Welfare Association of Bangladesh (CWAB) also expressed their sympathy for the members of the bereaved family.
