That ’70s Show (1998-2006)

That '70s Show is an American television sitcom that ran from August 23, 1998 to May 18, 2006, originally airing on FOX. The show revolved around a group of teenage friends who live in the fictional town of Point Place, Wisconsin. The sitcom concentrated on social issues of the 1970s including sexism, generational conflict, the economic hardship suffered due to the 1970s recession, underage drinking, etc. It also highlighted the developments in the entertainment industry at that time.
The main characters in the show were Jackie, Eric, Michael, Steven, Donna, Fez, Kitty, Red, Bob, and Midge played by Mila Kunis, Topher Grace, Ashton Kutcher, Danny Masterson, Laura Prepon, Wilmer Valderrama, Debra Jo Rupp, Kurtwood Smith, Don Stark, and Tanya Roberts respectively.
Over the course of time, the series received many nominations that include 16 Primetime Emmy Awards. The show won only one award against all the nominations in 1999, where Melina Root had been given the Emmy award for "Outstanding Costume Design for a Series". In addition to all the nominations, the show was nominated numerous times in Teen Choice Awards, where both Ashton Kutcher and Wilmer Valderrama took awards on three occasions.
The series was a steady performer for FOX, becoming one of the company's flagship shows. The show included many prominent songs and two soundtracks were released in 1999. The show also had a British remake where the original script was precisely followed except for few minor changes due to cultural issues.
