We have already talked about the current scenario of the film industry so what I am about to say now will not be alien to the readers, and the current situation with FDC and the foreign films entering our market isn't helping. We have heard a lot of opinions regarding these issues from different people in the media and we plan to hold a discussion with members of the media regarding this as soon as possible. But after all that's said and done, we need more films. Without it, we can't possibly hope for audience to turn up in theaters. Maybe saying that no films are being made is unjust. What I mean is that the quality of the film isn't up to the mark and that's why the audience aren't turning up. Because of this loss of quality, the regular theater going people have mostly given up on the practice. The reasons for this can put down to many of the director's wish to make alternative films. What they fail to recognize however, is that audiences might not be able to connect with the film, which is mainly what happened. The thing to remember is that the only thing to consider is whether a film is good or bad, not whether it's alternative or mainstream etc. All hope is not lost yet as many new talented people are stepping into the light and there are currently very promising titles in the pipelines for this year, amongst which, Zero Degree is one. We eagerly await the release of Zero Degree and see whether it lives up to our expectation and indeed all the other promising projects that are yet to be released.
