It is always a pleasure and honor to win awards and prizes and I am very happy to receive this I think that the winning amount contributes in motivating an artist or photographer to continue their dream. I believe that if I am able to buy a lens or part of a camera through the honoree prize money, then I can devote to this field with more perseverance. As a young artist the financial support is very encouraging. In our country we have a very conventional thinking that photography is just a hobby but I want to take photography as a profession and my family has supported me unconditionally. It started as a hobby and later my base as photographer began through East West University Photography Club. I have a great zeal for street photography and I always try to evoke movement and narrate a story through my photographs. I tried to bring forth vintage ambience in my winning picture of our National Parliament, to create the perfect image, the way our grandparents saw the parliament house in newspapers and television during their era.
