HC Templeton, representative of New Zealand at Commonwealth Parliamentary Summit in Kuala Lumpur says: “My country is requesting the Commonwealth and the United Kingdom to reserve the rights of East Pakistanis. We believe that their government will look into this matter.”
President Yahya Khan meets PPP Chairman Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in Karachi. The meeting continues for three hours.
