SC Trophy starts today

The Bangladesh phase of the SC (Standard Chartered) Trophy, a five-a-side football competition, gets underway today at the M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
A total of 13 teams -- split into four groups -- will take part in the round-robin league matches and then top two teams from each group will qualify for the knockout stage to be held on Saturday.
The champions will get a chance to play and represent Bangladesh in a tournament named Standard Chartered Trophy finals on May 13, 2014 at Anfield, the home ground English Premier League giants Liverpool FC, with 15 other teams from across the world.
The participating teams are: Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) Green, Chevron, Ispahani, Bangla Trac, Kop, Grameenphone, SCB Blue, Epyllion, Anfield Road, Unilever-pool, Centenary, Lanka Bangla and Bangladesh Sports Journalists' Association (BSJA).
