Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today said the ongoing drives against corruption, militancy, and drugs will continue until these menaces are uprooted.
“We have made a lot of progress in development but we can also see many corrupts there. Our drive against militancy, terrorism, narcotics and corruption will continue unhindered,” she said.
The prime minister made the comments while inaugurating the commercial transmission of all local private television channels using the feed of country’s first communication satellite Bangabandhu-I (BS-I).
“Action will be taken against anyone found involved in corruption, regardless of their political party, opinion, or family lineage. I have nothing to lose,” she added.
She also requested the media to criticize the government if it does any mistakes but not to spread fake news.
