The driver of a CNG-run auto-rickshaw of the daily Janakantha who was shot by miscreants in Dilu Road area on April 14, died yesterday at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Yakub Sikder, 40, was carrying a journalist of the newspaper when some miscreants in a microbus bus shot six bullets at the vehicle.
A rickshaw-puller, Abdul Hakim, was also killed in the incident.
