Two youths caught while 'trying' to rob drugstore in capital

Locals caught two youths with sharp weapons while they were allegedly trying to rob a drugstore in the capital's Shajahanpur early yesterday.

Saiful Islam, 30, and Johirul Islam Shohag, 32, with two others attempted to rob Popular Pharmacy around 12:50am when locals, hearing the screams of the owner, rushed in and caught them. However, the two others managed to flee the scene, said Inspector of Shajahanpur Police Station Abdul Mabud. Saiful and Johirul were handed over to police, he said adding, the car was seized.
