'Medical Science the Light of Islam' by Musharraf launched

The publication ceremony of a book “Medical Science in the Light of Islam”, authored by a pharmacist Dr Muhammad Musharraf Hussain, was held on November 8.
The book was published under the auspices of Bangladesh Co-operative Book Society Ltd, Dhaka, says a press release.
The contents of the book are the series of the writer's weekly question-answer programme “Islamer Aloke Chikithsha Biggan” aired by Islamic TV in seven years.
The publication ceremony was chaired by former secretary and director general of Islamic Foundation and chairman of the book society, Muhataram AZM Shamsul Alam.
Justice Md Abdur Rouf, former chief election commissioner, was present as the chief guest on the occasion where former vice chancellor of BSM Medical University Dr Md Nazrul Islam and the author, among others, addressed it.
Speaking at the event, Nazrul stressed the introduction of “prophetic medical practices” in the country.
