Policeman hurt in 'accidental' firing by fellow

A police constable was injured in an "accidental" firing from a gun of another law enforcer near the International Crimes Tribunal entrance gate in the capital yesterday.
Md Nashidul, 22, a member of Armed Police Battalion, with a bullet in his thigh, was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Inspector Mozammel Haque, in charge at the DMCH police camp, said the incident occurred when a group of police was handing over their arms to another group after discharging their duties.
