The Salutikar boat market has become bustling with activities following the rise in water levels during the monsoon. Held every Saturday and Tuesday since the British era, the market is located at Salutikar Bazar in Gowainghat upazila, the meeting point of Sylhet Sadar, Companiganj, and Gowainghat upazilas.
