DSCC administrator gets additional role as WASA MD

Shahjahan Mia, the administrator of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), has been assigned additional duties as the managing director of Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (WASA).

The Local Government Division issued an office order confirming the appointment today.

Signed by Deputy Secretary Akbar Hossain, the order said Shahjahan would serve in both roles effective immediately.

Shahjahan, who is also an additional secretary in the Development Wing of the Local Government Division, will now oversee both the DSCC and Dhaka WASA under his expanded portfolio.
