Malaysia to recruit large number of Bangladeshi workers: Asif Mahmud

LGRD Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain has said Malaysia in principle has decided to recruit a large number of Bangladeshi workers in the days to come.
"The country has also assured ensuring proper wages, security, and overall welfare of the workers," Asif said in a Facebook post.
Asif, also the youth and sports adviser, mentioned that the development came following a recent meeting between Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Adviser Asif Nazrul and high officials of the Malaysian Ministry of Human Resources in Malaysia's Putrajaya.
Two major highlights of the discussion were ensuring proper wages as well as benefits for the existing Bangladeshi workers, and preparing a well-balanced framework for sending new Bangladeshi workers under a transparent recruitment policy.
