"The Rising Stars Concert" took place in Dhaka, showcasing the talents of three promising Russian musicians. The event featured soulful piano compositions paired with operatic performances centered on themes of love and emotion. Audience filled the National Theatre Hall, enjoying a night of compelling instrumental and classical music.

Organised yesterday evening by the Russian House in Dhaka in collaboration with the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, the concert was supported by the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory.

Russian performers Stanislav Chernukhin (grand piano), Karina Khovalyg (soprano), and Mikhail Loginov (baritone) graced the stage, delivering a series of stirring musical pieces. Khovalyg and Loginov performed celebrated operatic works from Russia and beyond, their voices conveying deep emotions of solitude, grief, and the haunting impact of war.

A standout moment of the evening was the rendition of the well-known wartime song "Smuglyanka", with Chernukhin's piano evoking a mood of tenderness and longing.

The concert is part of the 'Rising Stars' initiative by the Russian World Foundation, which aims to promote Russia's most gifted young musicians internationally. Backed by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, the project hosts global performances and masterclasses to highlight the richness of Russian arts, language, and education.

Opening the event, Pavel Dvoychenkov, director of the Russian House, remarked, "Music goes beyond boundaries and deepens the connection between nations. This concert is not just about performance—it's a gesture of cultural exchange between our countries."
