46th BCS written exam May 8; 47th prelim June 27

The written examination for the 46th Bangladesh Civil Service has been scheduled to begin on May 8 while the preliminary test of the 47th BCS will be held on June 27.

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) issued a notice in this regard today.

The exam will be held simultaneously in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh, said the release.

The written examination of the last BCS and the schedule of the 47th preliminary and other related important instructions will be informed later through the PSC website -- http://www.bpsc.gov.bd/; Teletalk Bangladesh Limited's website --http://www.bpsc.gov.bd/; and national daily newspapers.
