BSF hands over detained Bangladeshi to BGB

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) handed over a Bangladeshi national to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) yesterday, a day after he was detained from Beurjhari border area in Thakurgaon's Baliadangi upazila.
Sheikh Alimur Rahman of Khulna was handed over to the BGB through a flag meeting around 6:00pm, said Lt Col Tanvir Ahmed, commanding officer of BGB Battalion-50.
The commanding officer said BSF from Barabillah camp detained him about 300 yards inside Indian territory near pillar No-380/4-S.
The BGB officials later contacted BSF for a flag meeting.
