Fruits, in Mellow Colours

The summer heat and humidity may be something people complain about at great length and for all the right reasons. But at the back of the mind they always long for this season. The causes are not hard to come by. This happens to be a season abundant in juicy, mouth watering fruits. Mangoes, jackfruits, litchis, star fruits, pineapples and berries of several kinds flood the market. Consumers are often seen at shops trying to figure out whether chemicals were used to ripen them.
Besides, all this talk of formalin applied to fruits has been a matter of concern. Though it may be the season for fruits, it is a rather brief one. And yet in places like Waisghat and other places, the majesty of fruits prevails.
