Taskin removes Asalanka for his first wicket
Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed managed to dismiss Sri Lanka batter Charith Asalanka early on in his innings to reduce the hosts to four down for 144 after the completion of the 32nd over in the Asia Cup Super Four encounter between the two sides at the R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Saturday.
Asalanka hit a solitary boundary for his 23-ball 10 and looked to take on Taskin through the leg side but the batter was deceived by Taskin's slower off-cutter that managed to also extract some extra bounce off the wicket resulting in Asalanka scooping it straight up foor Shakib Al Hasan to grasp at mid-on.
