Prime Bank to raise Tk 500cr term loan for Sajida Foundation

Prime Bank is going to raise a staggering syndicated term loan of Tk 500 crore for Sajida Foundation to disburse for the latter's microfinance programme.

Zahida Fizza Kabir, chief executive officer of Sajida Foundation, and Hassan O Rashid, managing director of Prime Bank, signed an agreement to this end in Dhaka recently, a press release said. 

Founded by Syed Humayun Kabir in 1993, the foundation, a value-driven non-government organisation, aims to deliver meaningful and sustainable change in the lives of people from all strata through a portfolio comprising financial products and services, specialised social enterprises, and community-centric development programmes.
