Popular film star Siam Ahmed and his wife Shamma Rushafy Abantee were blessed with a baby boy earlier today at a private hospital in the capital.

The news was confirmed to The Daily Star by the actor himself.

Last year, on December, Siam announced that he is looking forward to fatherhood, posting a picture with his wife across social media.

On the work front, the actor has been garnering wide appreciation for his excellent performances on OTT platforms and the silver screen. His film, "Shaan" is slated for release this Eid.

Siam and Shamma tied the knot in 2018, after 10 years of knowing each other. The Daily Star congratulates the new parents.
