Fog, lower temperature in north and Mymensingh over next 3 days: Met office

The country will face dense fog at night, especially at the northern parts of the country and Mymensingh, which will continue up to 12:00 noon tomorrow.
The intensity of cold will increase due to the dense fog in the areas, according to meteorologist Bazlur Rashid.
"The dense fog will continue at northern parts of the country and Mymensingh for the next two or three days and intensity of cold in the areas will increase during this time," he said.
The temperature will fall one to two degrees Celsius in the next three days and it will start rising from January 6.
Today, the lowest temperature was recorded at Naogoan -- 10 degree Celsius, while temperature of Dhaka was recorded at 14.3 degree Celsius.
There is a possibility of rain between January 11 to 13 in the northern region and country will face cold wave following that, Bazlur added.
According to the 24 hours forecast of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department till 9:00 am, weather may remain dry with partly cloudy sky. Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over northwest and the river basins. Light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during midnight till morning.
