Pakistan lost four wickets in the morning session of the third day of the Chattogram Test, adding 58 runs to the overnight total with all four wickets taken by spinners.

Taijul Islam got three breakthroughs while Mehedi Hasan got the other one as the hosts put brakes on the Pakistani charge, who are chasing Bangladesh's first innings total of 330. Pakistan were 203 for four at lunch.

Abid Ali, though, continued to be strong after reaching his century as the opener was batting on 127 with Mohammad Rizwan on 5.

Abid had a reprieve though as he was dropped on 113, Taijul's delivery taking an outside edge off Abid's bat and bursting through Najmul Hossain's hands at slip after brushing wicketkeeper Liton Das's pads.

Abdullah Shafique (52), Azhar Ali (0), Babar Azam (10) and Fawad Alam (8) are buck in the hut.
