Nirjhar debuts on silver screen with Aaha!

A glimpse of the filmAaha!: Mallick lives in a 100-year-old house in the old quarters of Dhaka. However, he cannot relate with all the changes around him: in particular the mushrooming of high rise buildings around his house. The avaricious agents of the real estate companies have their eyes on his land for another high rise building. But Mallick wants to live with the memories associated with his long time residence.

The shooting of the film began in April. Debutante director Enamul Haque Nirjhar, a popular architect and photographer, is hopeful about this alternative genre. Under the banner of Nine Steps, the film features Humayun Faridee, Tariq Anam Khan, Khaled Khan, Pragna Laboni, Shahidul Alam Sachchu, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Rahmat Ali, Gazi Rakayet and Shathi. Film actor Ferdous will appear in a guest role in the film. The story, script, dialogues and lyrics are written by the director Nirjhar himself. The shooting of the film is going on in full swing and most of the shots will be taken in the old town of Dhaka City.
