Methila’s film ‘Rohingya’ releases on Apple TV

Miss Universe Bangladesh Tangia Zaman Methila's debut Bollywood film "Rohingya" premiered on Apple TV on November 15.

Directed by Haider Khan and produced by Thunder Dragon Production, the film focuses on the love story of a simple Rohingya girl.

Tangia will be seen in the role of Husne Ara, a Rohingya genocide survivor, in "Rohingya: People From Nowhere" while Sangay Tsheltrim, who played the villain in Salman Khan's movie "Radhe", will be seen opposite Methila in this movie.

Methila is quite ecstatic about the release.

"The film is based on a real-life incident and its story will make everyone emotional. This is my first time working as a Bangladeshi artiste in a Bollywood film. It feels great that the film has been released and I really want everyone to watch the movie and express their views," mentions the actress.

The movie has been dubbed in two languages- Rohingya and Hindi. It has been shot in several places of India, including Manali and Tripura.
