Chattogram bourse rearranges CSE-30, CSE-50 indices

The Chattogram Stock Exchange rearranged two of its indexes—CSE-30 and CSE-50—based on the performances of listed companies.

The new indexes will be effective from September 12 and these are reviewed twice in a year, the port city bourse said in a press release.

Eight companies are going to be included and eight others will be removed in the CSE-30 index.

Companies that will be included are: BBS Cables, Dhaka Bank, Eastern Bank, Green Delta Insurance, Pubali Bank, Sandhani Life Insurance, Premier Bank, and Uttara Bank.

The CSE decided to exclude Argon Denims, Bangladesh National Insurance, Bata Shoe, BD Finance & Investment, BSRM Steels, Delta Life Insurance, Orion Pharma and Ratanpur Steel Re-Rolling Mills from CSE-30.

The new companies that have been included in the CSE-50 are: Eastern Bank, Pubali Bank, and Robi Axiata.

On the other hand, Baraka Power, BD Shipping Corporation and Olypmic Industries are going to be excluded from the index.
