Nasir Mahmud is a good person: JP Lawmaker Chunnu

Jatiya Party Lawmaker Mujibul Haque Chunnu today said that former president of Uttara Club Limited Nasir U Mahmud is a "good person".

Chunnu said this about the accused in a case filed for attempted rape and murder of actress Pori Moni, while participating in the discussion on the proposed budget for 2021-22 fiscal.

"Yesterday an honourable member of parliament demanded justice for actress Pori Moni. I know a person who has been arrested in this regard. He was three-time president of Uttara Club. He is also an activist of Jatiya Party and a good man," the MP said.
