Imprisoned indoors

There is nothing more frustrating than being stuck within the confines of four walls as a student because of the ongoing pandemic. When the lockdown was first implemented nationwide, I was happy to get some relief from studies and spend time with my family. Unfortunately, I was wrong, and I realise that more with each passing day. At times I feel I am imprisoned. I keep turning the pages of the calendar each month hoping for things to get back the way they used to be, but in vain. I long to breathe in the open again! I eagerly look forward to meeting my friends at my university canteen. I pray for normalcy to rejuvenate our lives soon.
