Dataful, a Bangladeshi startup, has secured a place among the top nine startups to compete in the finale of the accelerator programme of Startup Istanbul 2020, a global startup event based in Turkey.

A total 54 participating startups pitched their ideas in the three-day long event from June 24-26, among which nine have been selected for the finale of the event's accelerator programme slated for June 30.

A number of Bangladeshi startups participated in the event but Dataful is the only one to represent the country in the finale.

The event began with 100 participants from a total 1,60,916 applicants from 166 countries. Among those 100 startups, 54 were selected for the accelerator programme which began in this month.

Over more than a decade, Startup Istanbul has been a gateway to global market and has brought together founders, investors and executives through the global startup event.
