Rapid Action battalion (Rab) today claimed to have arrested four members of militant outfit Allah'r Dal from Hatirjheel area of capital Dhaka.

The arrestees are: Ibrahim Ahmed Hero, 46, of Pabna; Abdul Aziz, 50, of Gaibandha; Md Shafikul Islam Suruj, 38, of Pabna; and Md Rashidul Islam, 28, of Kurigram, Rab said in a press release.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rab-3 arrested them from Hatirjheel area around 11:00pm yesterday.

The law enforcers have also recovered mobile phones, pen drives, and hard drives from their possession, the release said.

During interrogation, they have confessed to being members of the militant outfit, the release added.
