Khaleda returns from UK Saturday

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will return home from London on Saturday afternoon.

"Khaleda Zia will fly from Landon by an Emirates Airlines flight no-EK006 on Friday and is scheduled to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 4:55pm next day," Sayrul Kabir Khan, a media wing member of the party chief, told The Daily Star.

Before her departure from London, Khaleda Zia will observe the 51st birth anniversary of her elder son and senior vice chairman of the party Tarique Rahman tomorrow.

On September 15, Khaleda Zia left Dhaka for London to meet her family members.

BNP standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan told reporters that his party chief was going there for only two weeks to observe Eid-ul-Ajha with her family members there.

Earlier, Khaleda Zia has postponed her homecoming date for at least eight times.
