10 injured in clash over cable TV business

At least 10 people were injured in a clash over the control of a cable TV business in Notunbazar area of Sreepur municipality yesterday evening.

Locals said there has been ongoing rivalry between Sirajul Islam and Haji Jamal Uddin over the control of the cable TV business. Last evening, the rival groups locked in clash with knives and sticks.

Abul Kalam Bhuyan, officer-in-charge of Sreepur Police Station, said police rushed to the spot upon hearing of the clash and brought the situation under control.
